The Name

A lot of people have asked me how I came up with the name -- why I am not keeping Peri.  --I do like Peri -- I think it's cute, unique without being weird.  But, I think Peri Peterfy, and having the initials PP are just a little too much.  So, I opted to change her name.  I wanted to pick something that would be the same in all the relevant languages -- English, Hungarian and Russian -- and something that everyone in her multinational/multicultural life would be able to spell and pronounce.  Hence, Alexandra -- also a nod to her Russian heritage.  As for her middle name -- I am certain it needs no explanation for people.
