Note how I am not using the term "done". So this part has been excruciating. My homestudy agency screwed up some of my documents 2x, so they had to be done 3 times. The Illinois Secretary of State lost my paperwork, so that had to be redone, and I ended up having to pay a courier to physically walk it over to their office and have the paperwork certified, and then fedex them to me. The details are almost too trivial to go over. The bottomline is, that allegedly the last of the papers are getting here on Monday -- everything else is ready to go.
I also had to fill out the Petition to the Moscow Municipal Court requesting a new birth certificate to be issued for her -- with me listed as her mother, and her new name: Alexandra Molly Peterfy.
I love the name. Wishing you all the best! Hopefully all the hassle will fade into the background once you get her in your arms :)
