The Process

So here is how I understand this process to work -- I am heading to Moscow this weekend.  Monday morning, I have an appointment at the Ministry of Education where presumably we confirm my referral and sign some preliminary paperwork that will allow me to visit the orphanage.  The rest of Monday and Tuesday we get to sightsee in Moscow.  Wednesday I go to the orphanage and meet Peri.  I get to stay for an hour -- presumably meet with the orphanage director, physician, caretakers, and hopefully find out some more about her birth family, and her life up to this day.  I go to visit twice a day for the rest of the week - -an hour each time.  Friday afternoon I go back to the Ministry of Education, and sign a formal petition with the Russian government to adopt Peri.  Saturday, I get on a plane, and head back home.  

that's what I understand the process to be -- we'll see how closely reality will match this timeline.
